1. PLATFORM NATURE<\/strong><\/p>

Mattiva is a digital platform that connects travelers with Hosts who offer cultural, educational, and tourism experiences.<\/p>

Mattiva does not directly operate the experiences. Each experience is the sole responsibility of the Host offering it.<\/p>

2. HOST REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/p>

To become part of Mattiva, Hosts must meet at least one of the following requirements:<\/p>

Hold an official tour guide certification issued by a competent authority
Have verifiable academic training in fields such as history, architecture, archaeology, or anthropology<\/p>

Mattiva reserves the right to request documentation and validate all information before approving any profile.<\/p>

Registration does not guarantee the automatic publication of a Host profile.<\/p>

3. HOST RESPONSIBILITY<\/strong><\/p>

Each Host is responsible for:<\/p>

The accuracy of the published information
The proper execution of the experience
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
The safety of participants during the experience<\/p>

When an experience involves third parties, communities, or collectives (Living Heritage experiences), the registered Host will remain the primary person responsible before travelers.<\/p>

4. TAGS (EXPERIENCE CLASSIFICATIONS)<\/strong><\/p>

Mattiva uses tags to describe the Host\u2019s background and the focus of each experience.<\/p>

These tags are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute an absolute guarantee regarding the quality, depth, or outcomes of the experience.<\/p>

Mattiva reserves the right to assign, modify, or remove tags at any time.<\/p>

5. COMMUNITY-BASED EXPERIENCES (LIVING HERITAGE)<\/strong><\/p>

Some experiences may include the participation of local people or communities.<\/p>

In such cases:<\/p>

Participation must be genuine and respectful
The Host must have authorization or a direct relationship with the participating individuals or communities
Mattiva is not responsible for internal agreements between the Host and third-party participants
6.BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS<\/p>

Bookings are made through the platform.<\/p>

Payment confirms the reservation under the specific conditions of each experience.<\/p>

Mattiva may act as an intermediary in the payment process without being the direct provider of the experience.<\/p>

7. CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>

Each experience must include a cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict).<\/p>

Travelers accept these conditions at the time of booking.<\/p>

Mattiva may intervene in exceptional situations but is not obligated to provide refunds outside the established cancellation policies.<\/p>

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY<\/strong><\/p>

Mattiva shall not be held responsible for:<\/p>

Accidents, losses, or damages occurring during the experience
Failure by the Host to fulfill obligations
Conduct or actions of third-party participants<\/p>

By using the platform, users acknowledge and accept these risks.<\/p>

9. USER CONDUCT<\/strong><\/p>

Both Hosts and travelers agree to:<\/p>

Act respectfully
Avoid sharing false or misleading information
Not use the platform for unlawful purposes<\/p>

Mattiva reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these conditions.<\/p>

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY<\/strong><\/p>

All platform content, including texts, branding, and design, belongs to Mattiva.<\/p>

Hosts retain ownership of the content they create but authorize Mattiva to use such content within the platform.<\/p>

MODIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>

Mattiva may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.<\/p>
